standard stuff for savages I'm afraid. The problem is that more people might inform if plod was more careful, ie some c0ckup lets this sort of slime walk and then commit atrocities on informants for revenge. QED the Acourt etc lot over the lawrence murder, they let a list of people "helping with enquiries" fall into the wrong hands for example.

It's simple intimidation, in the rough parts near me you see 'so and so is a grass' sprayed over walls, that's a battle I can't see the police ever winning and one of the main reasons many crimes go without any witnesses.
