Child poverty is +50%
Food bank use is +1000 %
Homelessness is +170 %
NHS waiting lists are +70%
Police numbers are -20%
Crime is +30%
Local gov funding is -50%
Public sector pay is -15%.

I'll wait for people to say "Yeah but at least Boris isn't a terrorist sympathiser" or something negative about Tony Blair.

Yeah but at least Boris isn't a terrorist sympathiser.

yes he does, he still has to work, he did before on various papers and the Spectator.
TheDevil, Does one need to be an average Joe in order to lead the country? I don't think so.
Question Author
No, but it helps to be able to understand the position of the 'average Joe'. Mr Corbyn takes pride in the fact that he rides trains, talks to the homeless etc.. These are qualities of a good leader.

Respect those at the bottom as well as you would those at the top. It's honourable.
average Joe, is there such a thing..
\\ Retrocop - "What does his birthright matter?"

It means he has no idea what it is like to be an average Joe.//

Your answer is pure supposition, what proof do you have?
Question Author
"what proof do you have?"

His name is Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson and he went to Eton.
As I thought, you don't have any proof.
Question Author
Does the "Average Joe" go to Eton college, a boarding school for boys only?
Jeremy according to his bio went to Prep school, doesn't that count.
"His birthright does matter as it means he's totally out of touch with ordinary people"

Surely the same applies to Corbyn then, doesn't it? I don't know any people who lived in a manor house as a child and attended a private school like Corbyn did.

Personally, I'd much rather have somebody with the brains of Johnson as PM than Corbyn who managed to scrape to E grades a A-Level.

Corbyn's intellectual shortcomings and his shockingly poor grasp of numbers were amply demonstrated in his car crash interview with Andrew Neil.

Question Author
Jeremy Corbyn on many occasions shows his humbleness. He also on many occasions has shown the public how he understands the majority of the people in the UK. This is evident by labours policy's and how they mostly benefit the working class.
We have no figures though, for if the last 9 years had been a Labour (or anything else) government. Nothing to compare it with.
Question Author
"Nothing to compare it with."

We can compare the current figures to the figures that were recorded at the end of 2010.
Hardly. We have a higher population, etc etc now. Nine years is a long time in politics. That wouldn't be comparing like with like.
TheDevil //This is evident by labours policy's and how they mostly benefit the working class.//. You are joking :-

Question Author
Sorry DannyK13, I have no interest in supporting The Sun newspaper's website traffic.
"This is evident by labours policy's and how they mostly benefit the working class."

Corbyn admitted that Labour's tax plans will also affect the low paid.

Try again spath.
I can show child poverty rates based on % of population, have fallen over 9 years. But given the definition of poverty ( do you know what it is) the rate is never going to change much.
Question Author
DeskDiary, have you read the Manifesto?
Boris Johnson does not come from a particularly wealthy background. His father worked for the World Bank, the European Commission and has had numerous books published; his mother is an artist.
Boris won a King's Scholarship to Eton, so would have had most or all of his fees paid.
