What a hoo-haa about the millions of people who have either underpaid or overpaid income tax. Where does the fault lie and can anyone suggest a better system? It's quite a nightmare trying to complete 'self assessment'. As an OAP I was asked to do this for the first time but decided to ask a solicitor to do it for me. Glad I did as I received a rebate.
