This is not meant to be callous but it will be a very interesting social / psychological 'experiment'. I think one of the main issues will be the lack of daylight and the effect on their body clocks.
Awful situation but interesting that many will not be able to touch alcohol or cigarettes - wonder how many will break the habit. I wish them the best luck in the world for a safe rescue.

I used to work in a mine myself, its a very eerie place to be even when you are used to it, do they have lights?

It will be a tough slog for them and their families, I imagine they can get food and water to them?

My heart goes out to them.
