Hmmm, maybe your reading the posts wrong sherman.
I think they are more predgedist than racist. the ones who you think may be racist are just expressing their opinions.
You will read a lot of what you dont like on here and everywhere, its about freedom of speech.
Your not supposed to agree with everything you read, but you should be tolerant.
Join in the discussions and try not to label people until you get to know them. They arent as bad as they seem on here. Its just that words dont come across well...

oh im a great believer in freedom of speech, i for example absolutely hate how much power religious socities have bacause i cant say what i think about them. The difference i believe with racism is that the reasons cited for racism so far are just untrue! in fact i've never actually heard one single good argument for racism! i'm also very passionate about equality and freedom and its basically an infringement on both of them.

The problem is the growing number of mainly bangladeshis who don't work but claim all sorts of benefits and post cash and prescribed drugs out of this country.

I have a friend who works and lives in Jakarta, he has a friend who is a pilot for an airline in Pakistan. He asked him why he doesn't want to live in Britain. Reply, not likely we send all the cr@p there.

As regards the cartoons, of you want to publish some cartoons that offends a portion of society, then you are freely able to do so, but surely you must expect some form of retribution - even if its from an art critic.

as i've said before when someone shows me a reasonable argument something based on something bad rather than someone trying to get medicine for another human being then i'll accept their argument, what they have said is utter evil and i hardly think its deplorable to point out what they are to them, maybe they'll actually think before they speak?

As a white girl living in Britain, i've also been on the receiving end of racism. I lived in an area where I was the ethnic minority and I really noticed it. It's all over the place, but thankfully not everybody feels that way.

My two flatmates are Slovakians living/working over here. Their English is rather limited, but we have a great laugh just trying to chat! They're lovely girls and solely came over here for the job opportunities. I just couldn't imagine judging them on anything apart from their actions/reactions to others in this life.

right doc you've really made me angry here you say you hate bangledeshi's for sponging off our society so you beleive, you truly beleive that every bangledeshi comes over here and steals our prescription drugs? because of course no person from this country could do such a heinous act as trying to get drugs for someone sick? oh of course if we got rid of anyone of a different colour this country would just run perfectly? in fact we could probably abolish government because all us whites just love each other so much aye? you grow up learn some economic facts such as immigration responsible for a 4 billion boost in our economy or the fact that a vast percentage of our healthcare workers HAVE to come from abroad because we dont have eonugh staff. the fact is that there is not one single argument for racism as all it is idiocy and ignorance
