g'kids are 12, 10 & 8; Have trawled the shops but unsure what to buy. They love android/iphone games & play mine when they can. Contract phones for kids could break me ?

I've bought them a library in the past and never seen them read, even though they claim to love books. Kindles and reading via a screen wont benefit their eyes imo, plus the ongoing expense.

Am told toddlers are given half ipads in nursery school ?

I wouldn't know Tambo, ours read and the two eldest boys in particular devour books.

All I have bought is what was on their lists...except little chap, who just adores to copy housework, have him trained in no time.
