eat 16 quid worth of chinese. We were invited out for a birthday meal lastnight at an 'all you can eat' i went coz a good mate of mine but would not choose a place like that to eat. I cant eat that much and my bloke had half a bowl of chips, most expensive chips he's ever had. :-) i can see how they make their money.
yep i know its a business, hence why i said 'i can see how they make money' i could probably eat it if forced but id much rather have a nice starter and meal at a pub for less. Any more than is needed just seems a waste to me.
Oh I absolutely hate these all you can eat, things. I hate the whole "queuing" thing. I find it really, really embarrassing and end up just getting a tiny plate, so I don't look greedy!
I think its a false economy, I can only eat a portion of ribs and I am full or a portion of fried rice. that would only cost me about £4 quid. a £12 pound saving.
we went to an all you can eat place a few weeks back - you can eat your money's worth if you eat little and often through the evening, a couple of this, a bit of that - crispy seaweed, yum!
I personally can't eat £16 worth of Chinese food - but if I went with my other half I would probably eat about £8 - then he'd eat his £16 plus my other £8 - so it works out OK.
Our average Chinese food delivery on a Saturday is £18 - nearly £7 of that is the other half's crispy duck starter.
