Winmx is still free, but is a bit slow. I have a "FRIEND" who has Kazaa Lite, and this is excellent. I don't think you can download the free version anymore though.

LimeWire is similar to KaZaA Lite. I would suggest BitTorrent sites, but a lot of those are going down at the moment.

I agree with indie.. Limewire is an excellent site with loads of music, although everytime you go to it it tries to get you to buy the pro version. Another thing about limewire is that if you select a video search it brings up nothing but porn, so be very careful if you have children and put a net nanny lock on it.

Download a program called DC++ from dcplusplus.com, very easy to use and you can download absolutely any music with a little bit of searching (so i hear)

KazaaLite is still good for individual songs, but if you want to download whole albums, try BitComet.

kazaa and kazaa lite are both a joke steer well clear because they will shag your computer un-beknown to you and then your comp willl die. limewire is crackin stick with that. i suggest winmx for albums. just type in the album name or artist followed by albw - which means album wrap i hope this helps
