use of piano keyboard with I mac

I have recently bought an I mac computer and want to use my evolution MK-7 midi with it.
It has a 15 pin connector on it. I have bought a logilink adapter to convert the 15 pin plug to USB connection but am not able to get it working.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?
