Autotune vs Melodyne

Has anyone here used either/both? What does what the other doesn't?
(I use Autotune sometimes)

Autotune is usually used for fixing vocals to a musical scale, so it doesn't sound out of
tune.

Melodyne is more like a musical instrument in that you can totally change the note that someone is singing to a higher or lower note completely.

I use autotune but I've not played with Melodyne. There are some good tutorials for both systems on youtube if you search for them.
