what is the maximum number of tracks a 256mb mp3 player will hold?

i would guess, about 60-70?

or if u get a sony one it will hold many more as it uses atrac format which compresses songs down further until they are approx 2-3 megs in size rather 3-4megs

i have a sony 512 meg player which currently has 120 ish songs on it and is not even half full !

I have three albums on mine and it is about half full - 60-70 sounds about right
