What ways are there to stop neighbourhood cats entering your house? Our cat is being beaten up daily by a neighbourhood cat that comes in through the catflap. Is the only way to get a magnetic cat flap & fit him with a magnetic collar?

Personally I like to hiss at aggressive neighbourhood cats (Not like a snake but cat style, in their own language kind of thing) and it seems to work! They no longer come in and stick to the far end of the garden, but that probably because they now think I'm a loon.
Or buy a puppy. It will accept your cat, but try to eat any others when it grows up.
