Has anyone used the online ticket company Viagogo?
I've never heard of them, but the tickets I want aren't available on Ticketmaster (who I've always found to be very reliable)
I'm debating whether to pay quite a bit more for the tickets on Play (also reliable) or go for the cheaper option with Viagogo, so any advice welcome!

It's worth remembering that Viagogo don't actually sell any tickets. They do the same type of job that eBay does, by linking up buyers and sellers. If you buy on eBay you'll generally have positive experiences, and eBay will (theoretically at least) try to help you if you don't. But you're still dealing with individual sellers, with the consequent risks of disappointment if you happen to buy from the wrong person. Exactly the same applies to Viagogo.

I can't comment on this supplier but I'd be very wary given the sorts of things one hears on Watchdog about ticket 'specialists' and this story on AnswerBank this week

I sold some ticket on Viagogo. Very straight forward without problems.

Whatever you do, use a credit card (rather than a bank debit card.

If you have any problems with the transaction (eg. tickets not turning up), your credit company will be jointly liable and will refund your money and chase up the seller themselves.

Thanks for all your replies.
I'd just about decided to go for the Play.com tickets, but it seems they are not direct from there, but from individual sellers, so I'm still in a quandary!
Would be interesting to know how much the tickets were originally, its for the sunday of the Hard Rock Calling festival in Hyde Park, did anyone buy tickets direct from the official site?
Standard Day Tickets were originally on sale for 45.
