Very emotional and he is obviously loved, but would it have killed him to have mentioned his brother by name in his thanks? There is a family feud I beleive - maybe its time to forgive and forget??

You believe there is a Family feud, any proof of this or are you just believing what you have read in the papers etc?

Maybe he was embarrassed that his brother Jackie has a girl's name.

trt - its well documented and has been for years, Jack talks about it in his autobiography and it is known they didn't speak for a number of years after thier mother died.

Suggest you look at more of than the papers before you jump down someones throat

i have to say, even as a Scot, his award was richly deserved and what he has achieved in his life, not only on a football pitch, should be celebrated.

the european cup in 68
charlton is one of the most underrated footballers of all-time and the life time award is much deserved
