Boystown Gang - 1982 - sung by Jackson Moore. She did a great Hi-Nrg song in 84 with the great Jimmy Ruffin - I'm Gonna LOve You Forever - must dig out my 12" - had a Hi-nrg version and a "UK Club " version on the other side - fantastic!

The Pet Shop Boys did a version of this spliced with "Where The Streets Have No Name" at some point. I remember a DJ here in Ireland being so incensed by his beloved U2 being so "debased" that he smashed the CD on air!

You might be thinking of the Pet Shop Boys - 'Where the streets have no name (Can't take my eyes of you) which combines both songs.
