WIth the big increase in cherry picking songs thru legal and illegal downloads....are those compilation cds "now thats what i call music"for example bite the dust?

I blame those compilation cds for some of the decline in singles sales. Why should I buy a single when I can get that single and most of the chart on comilation cds.
