I might have a look,I already visit Random Acts Of Reality which i'm sure you know is the Blog by London paramedic Tom Reynolds.
I havent been on CB for a few weeks, and this is the first thing I see, brilliant!!!

Macchirpy I have been trying to find a way into the ambulance service for ages. Is there any info you can give me or contact details where I can apply?
I seriously wish to **** I hadnt opened this -wont leave any comments apart from you are a sicko without a thought for anyone else.Get your kicks elsewhere.
Dris...I know you have your reasons for being upset about this and I do sympathise with you!,but this poster is obviously new here and doesn't know anything about the people here and their past.I think its a bit harsh calling him a sicko.I'm not having a go at you in anyway, just trying to diffuse a situation before it gets nasty.
Have I missed something? Whats wrong with the blog, I havent read it, and now dont want to??!!
There is nothing wrong with the blog MATRIX, I think the first article in it about road traffic accidents has upset Drisgirl due to a personal matter.
I know daffy and I wont get nasty at all but when you read a link like this from someone new surely anyone would have their doubts about the posters integrity.

I dont believe a single paramedic in the land would post that- let alone have his own blog -it demeans the fantasic job those people do

I will hold judgement and let others decide as youre right- who wants to read that when its close to home xxx.
nothing wrong with it as such matrix. Its basic facts about situations a paramedic faces and tales of call outs.

understandably though some people may be upset by contents if it brings memories up.
right ok.
firemen who have been out to difficult calls often do anything they can to talk it out if it helps them deal with it. perhaps paramedics are the same.
There are many other paramedic blogs on the internet Dris,I have been reading one for several years now, some of the things written by people on blogs are bound to offend some people but that doesn't mean they shouldn't post them.We all have the choice to avoid those sites and I respect your right to do so.I'm sure if this person had known your story he would have been a bit more careful of where on AB he posted this link.
I agree daffy -perhaps if it had come with a wee warning then?
macchirpy i'd still appreciate some advice.
Some people just don't think about who they might offend when making posts Dris, especially newbies. You should know that by now!!! lol.
"a wee warning then"??...he's a paramedic...."a blogsite about his work".....he aint in the ENT department??........Dris.....yep youve had some ****...but can no one mention traffic accidents anymore...??......bet he's saved more than he's lost.......and if it makes peeps think....'just a tiny bit'...about what they do....then good on him I say!........him/her....he/she......sorry bit presumptious there... :-))
Not the first time you have attempted to patronise me Joby.

I quite simply cant understand why anyone would post a link without the courtsey of a simple dont open if you may be distressed or offended by my blog.

The post was in itself quite upbeat so there was no indication that it wasnt perhaps about charity work they undertake persae.

Its really not a lot to about my recent circumstances -what makes you think perhaps my children havent been rescued by the rapid inyervention of paramedics before hmm -like when my daughter had such a bad fit she was left paralysed for a time but survived had it not been for medical intervention? I just dont want to read about other peoples misery via a blog posted on what is fundamentally an inane chat forum. Its about ethics cant see any here.

O and before you have another dig -I posted in the correct forums when I was stupid and senseless enough to do it.
wtf???......It says its a blog about a uk paramedic......about their work!!!

NOT charity work.....

you Dris...seem to think youre the only one with problems.....and general crap that life throws at ya.

Im Not attempting to patronise you at all........

and how do you know...that I havent had a loved one die in a traffic accident?...which I have.......or my children have never needed life saving treatment.......see ya dont...

Maybe if you direct your posts to the poster rather than me then you wouldnt get it back.

I dont have the monopoly FFS -what do you take me for -o yeah we all live for ever or die peacefully in our sleep-our kids are always happy and healthy -man -dont take me for the fool I often portray myself on here as -sometimes I do sink to the levels of banal but that doesnt make me blinkered.

Now lets leave this as its going no-where -I have responded to two personal jibes -initiated by you- so lets call it quits huh??

Now im off on holiday tomorrow so i would like to have some down time -and yes I will have a good time -ta xxx
Hi there macchirpy , keep up the good and valuble work you do hun . I am sure paramedics have saved me a few times and I am always comforted to see you and be given your expert care. Well done ;-) xxx
good for you.....!

Why direct it to the poster......???.....my problem isnt with them......

have a good holiday.....sounds like you need it...
