I'm going to a wedding, and as the couple have been together for a long time, they have asked for donations to a charity rather than pressies.
I will do that but I thought i'd make a cd of some great tracks to do with love etc.
Trouble is, she's ten years younger than me and so I'm not sure they will like or know the same songs I do! (I'm 43)
What could I put on it?

Go on google and type in - love songs from the eighties , you should find loads on there and go on you tube and type in love songs and see what comes up
hi, i've dj'd at weddings fior the last ten years, the most popular recentyish slowy/love song is snow patrol, chasing cars. i also always play zoom by fat larrys band and that gets a good reception.others poss inc. you to me are everything (real thing) sweet love (anita baker) call off the search (kate mulia ?) and on a more upbeat note the record that i guarentee also goes well and lyrically is very lovey is 1st my last my everything (barry white). hope you have a great evening, the wedding i have this sat want your beautiful & secret smile ..ugh. but music is a pesonal thing. sorry i'll shut up now.
all time greatest love song for me is Endless love - Lionel Ritchie & Diana Ross.
other personal favs are - i found someone - Bryan Adams & Babara Streisend ,
truly , madly , deeply - savage garden

and upbeat - i was born to love you - freddie Mecury or
someone loves you honey - lutricia Mcneal

hope this helps
As well as the usual all time faves you could have Perfect by Fairground Attraction and Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer.
from this moment,Shania Twain
Ive been doing the mobile disco thing now for over 15 years and ive never in my life been asked to play Zoom by Fat Larry's Band!!!!!!!!

The most popular ive played is Diana Ross and Lionel Richie Endless Love. Last week was I Swear by All 4 One, this week is Amazed by Lonestar (slow version).....
The original version of "Just the two of us" by Grover Washington Jnr, featuring Bill Withers. A love song everyone can dance to, not just the couples. Make sure it's not the later version, which had a rap track over it, (ruined it in my opinion).
