the temperature you see on weather maps is it taken from the shade or sun?

temperature is ALWAYS taken in the shade, its is the air temperature that is measured not the heat of the sun.

Personally I would say they take the temperatures from a crystal ball ...... let's face it, they are very rarely right !!!!
