The first record on Radio One on 30 September 1967,was 'Flowers In The Rain' by Birmingham's finest, The Move. The band were unable to enjoy the financial rewards of their record however. Having released the single with a promotional postcard depicting the then Labour Premier Harold Wilson naked in his bath, the band were sued by the irate politician, who won his legal action and demanded that all royalties be donated to charity.
