sorry, thats what i meant to say. I started off by putting " is the singer anastacia latin?" and then changed it, hence the mistake

Can people even be Latin? Or do you mean Latino? She's not tho, she was born in chicago.

Becks is quite correct, she is a Chicago girl. But I seem to remember she has mixed race parentage. I seem to remember her saying so on a TV interview, because she said she was aspiring to be a white version of Shirley Bassey........ She certainly has the voice........

P.S. There are however quite a few singers with latino origins, theres Shakira and J Lo to mention, probably the 2 most famous........
