Glastonbury ticket problems

Is anyone else having MAJOR difficulty getting through to the website and phone number for Glastonbury? How stupid were the organisers to only allow one website (that clearly can't cope with the demand) to sell the tickets. Amazingly, I've managed to get through but loads of my friends have been trying all night.

Lots of people are having the same problem. It's so bad it even made the lunchtime news!

A friend of mine tried for about 3 hours and couldn't get through. She was going to go te bed, wake up at 3am and try again then. Don't know if she was successful though. Isn't it always the case every year? Tickets are difficult to get hold of, and if you do get hold of one it's taken you ages to do so! Not to worry, there's always the �1000 "tickets" on ebay! Go to Reading - it's better.

Yes - all night - You shouldnt be able to buy them on EBAY as they are personalised to each customer

So how are they going to know? Does Emily Eavis have access to the secret government database of photographs of its subjects?

When you buy tickets you have to give a name and address for each person you're buying the ticket for. I don't know if this means you have to take further ID with you to get in at the festival.
