Classic rock - AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, Alice Cooper etc etc, however I also don't mind a bit of opera lol
Slayer!!
Sepultura lol
metalica,nirvana,nine inch nails,therapy.
my husband loves Metalicca and danced to Nothing else matters at our wedding. I like some of their stuff but I prefer, Linkin Park, Papa Roach Pearl Jam etc
Killing Joke, Savatage, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pantera, Pink Floyd these are some of my favourite bands.
I like all the Seattle stuff from the 90s. I loved Faith No More, I like Metallica still. Im more indie now but like Opeth, soil and Lamb of God!
Goodsoulette you should be into Soul!!
Slipknot,Stonesour,Hole,Soil,Metallica,Marilyn Manson,Alice In Chains.I also love some classical pieces and am a frequent Opera goer.
Marillion, Opeth, Muse, Pure Reason Revolution, Porcupine Tree, Maiden, dredg, Floyd, Tull, Muse, Metallica, Paradise Lost to name but a tiny selection. Then there's some goth stuff, a bit of indie, some folk, some trip hop, some classical...

It's a bit worrying when Faith No More are described as rock classics though. They still sound reasonably fresh and new to me - I was listening to King for a Day just on Tuesday. Great album.
reverandfunk.... my username is based on the song good souls by Starsailor!
CYANIDE.... I havent seen anyone on here who likes soil. They are wicked.

Yehhhh! i thought i was a bit abnormal listening to hard rock [female 45] should be listening to take that ? yuuuuk!
listen to a lot of velvet revolver, metalica, faith no more , linhin park, korn, stone sour, disturbed, incubus, and of course a little skipnot but more on the drumming uve got to see skipnot joe s drumming in a rotating cage on stage it is awsome and i think he is the fastest drummer that i know! any expert?
I am 53 and into hard rock so you're never too old. I was fortunate in that in my formative years people such as Hendrix and band like Pink Floyd were emerging. I like Alice in Chains, Audioslave, Pantera, Sepultura, Nine Inch Nails, Metallic, Slipknot , Korn, Therapy? etc. but I also like REM, Greenday, Faith No More and classical and opera so I have wide tastes (although if pushed I would always prefer rock) Can't stand jazz though. By the way Lars Ulrich is one hell of a drummer!

hi bensmum! is lars ulrich metalica drummer?
and have you seen the drumming round at motorhead gig last year just awsome
Hello again. Lars Ulrich is indeed the drummer with Metallica - I didn't see the Morothead gig you refer to but I have seen TV clips of them and the drummer is awesome. I think I would have liked to be a rock drummer if I had my time again!
