I just heard today that Gracie Fields' real name was Grace Stansfield. Are she and Lisa Stansfield related?

Gracie Fields is indeed named Stansfield, and is a native of Rochdale. Lisa Stansfield, however, was born in Manchester, and moved with her family to Rochdale when she was eleven, having already won a music talent contest in a Manchester club. The theory that the two are related has been around for a long time, and some research suggests a connection - however I'm going to stick my neck out and err on the side of the 'non-believers' here, I think people would like a connection, but I believe one does not exist. I am however, open as always, to correction - Lisa are you out there?
