Kate Bush: what album to start with?

I haven't bought an album in some time, and was looking into one of Kate's albums. I thought it would make a nice change from the usual male-fronted indie bands I usually listen to.

Which of her albums would you recommed I start off with?

I really love 'This Woman's Work' but havent heard any of the other songs on the album. So, I'm in no position to judge an entire album on the strength of one song. What is that album like, anyway?

Can anyone help?

To me the very best album of hers is the "Hounds of Love" it's in my top 5 cds of all time!

It was recorded mid 80's but does not sound of its time it really is a true classic!

It's a bargain price of about �5 too so if you don't like I'll refund your money LOL!

I would agree - it's evidence that Ms. Bush is a musician to whom the adjective 'genius' can legitimately be applied.

I like Hounds of Love as it uses so many instruments both electronic and acoustic - there is real drama and passion in that cd especially the latter half.

Whatever you chooe to buy please avoid the compilations as they never seem to work for me.

So I need to order Kick inside as I don't know this!

why not start with her 1st album? which was Lionheart it was the 1st album i ever owned! and its got all her best known songs on too!

Her First Album was "The Kick inside" not "Lionheart"
I would start from the beginning.....
