Is the new Take That song ' Shine' a cover ?? and if so who sang it originally ??

Its co-written by the band according to wikipedia. So I presume it is not a cover version but an original. Sounds very ELO to me

It is seriously ELO, who were in turn seriously Beatles - it's all in the chord changes, and the arrangement, and the vocal production.

For a generation who don;t know either of the two predecessors, it's instant hook will make it a big hit, no problem.
