Hi,

I'm looking for this song that I have a memory of hearing but can't find anywhere.

I think it is played in a ballet and it's quite dream-like, it could well have been in The Nutcracker or Swan Lake.

If anyone's got any idea what it could be, please help me out.

Many thanks

to be honest from that info its nigh on impossible to give ny precise advice. have you actually listened through those two ballet pieces you mention? That would be the most obvious place to start.
Ballets do not have songs! Do you mean a tune?

Thank you, smart arse.

I've found it! It's called 'The Carnival of the Animals: VII Aquarium' by Saint-Sans.

And it was actually in The Nutcracker after all. Glad I cracked that nut!
