I have just started using iTunes and have found that when I have imported albums from CDs, a few artists appear to have 3 or 4 different genres covering 10 or so albums. Is there anyway that iTunes allows me to edit these into a single genre?

when you installed iTunes, you may have clicked yes to a box that said iTunes would organise all your music for you, in which case you need to go through the options on edit, and unclick it.
otherwise, highlight all the songs you wish to edit, right click and go on 'Get Info'. Type in the genre you wish the music to have, then click OK. does that help?

Great- the "get info" method works. I knew there had to be a way to do it.

Thanks
