If it hasn't got any singing, then the usual ones they use are, the Stargate theme - David Arnold or even various themes from Gladiator - Hans Zimmer or Lisa Gerrard

Another one I've just heard used about three times for three different films today is the Pirates of the Caribbean action theme...

Went to go and see a film today and two trailers preceding both used music from 'The shawshank Redemption'. Not epic i know, but it's scary how many of these tunes are getting recycled...
