song from beginning of the 90's, chorus went something like "DON'T RUN RABBIT RUN DON'T RUN RUN RUN, DON'T RUN FROM YOUR FATHER WITH HIS BRAND NEW GUN" sounds like the sisters of mercy, any ideas?

At at certain point of the song it sounds like the singer fron BAUHAUS. Song could be from the late 80's.

I just remembered the opening lyrics, i think it goes "WELL DADDY'S GONE A HUNTING.....".

That's bloody annoying! As soon as I read your question, I could hear a vague tune in my head (back on the medication methinks). I'm sure it's The Sisters, Sisterhood or Fields Of The Nephilim ("Preacher Man"?).

I know i know! I have this song on tape somewhere, it just came into mind the other day and i thought maybe with internet i 'd be able to find out who it is and download it. It's definetly dark gothic kinda music, i just finished checking all the lyrics of The sisters and The fields, nothing. Tried with google, but only a damn nusery rhyme pops up. Hang on, the opening lyrics could actually be "CRY BABY BUNTING DADDY'S GONE A HUNTING". Well i won't give up, thanks for your interest.
