I have purchased a Banjo which I want to learn to play, unfortunately the area where I live in Carshalton, Surrey does not have any evening classes for this musical instrument.

I would like to play this instrument, but I warn people in advance that I am not musical gifted!

Try phoning Bootleg in Epsom - it's an independent music shop who may be able to put you in touch with a local tutor

If you cannot find anywhere to have lessons then teaching yourself shouldnt be a problem. Just purchase a beginner music book for the banjo from your local music shop or online - and itll tell you step by step how to play and where all the notes are etc :)
Good luck
