So, have just got my lovely new sony w810i walkman phone, only to find that it will not convert my wma files to mp3 as stated in the software, because I had not taken into consideration the licence agreements attached to downloaded music from msm online store.

Apparently, if I had downloaded music illegally, I would not have this problem. Really frustrating to pay for music that you think belongs to you, only to realise you cant do what you want with because peeps in the music industry are so paranoid about file sharing. And yet it is precisly this that surely makes people download illegally so they can put on their phones etc?

Humph!!!!!!

yep. got burned with licenses on wma files before. had to re-install windows, and couldn't then use the wma files after.
