Both Kimera & Operaiders - The Lost Opera and Hooked on Classics did mixed up classical and opera with a beat. You might like them.

"The Queen Symphony" is an excellent piece of work. It is based on Queen's music without just being an orchestral of the songs. To me it is like it's telling Freddies life story in music.
I listen to it very often and find it very moving and uplifting.
i love william orbit barbers adagio for strings mixed by ferry corsten. it's danced up but it doesn't ruin it, have a wee listen i hope you like it
Check out Rondo Veneziano. Classical with a beat to it!
There is a nice recording available of Queen played by the Berlin Phil, if that rocks your boat.
Emerson Lake and Palmer - did all sorts of classical remixes - including Pictures at an Exhibition.
