Please tell me where I can download BBC's Theme Music (the one that plays at the beginning and end of their Hourly News on TV) ? If you have it, please email it to me. Thanks, Bhavin Joshi Mumbai - India

If you're in India, I assume you mean the BBC World theme. This is actually available as a CD single from www.bbcshop.com. target=_blank>http://www.bbcshop.com">www.bbcshop.com. There is a flourishing web community of TV presentation fanatics who share files of this sort ofthing, but we've been very good people on this one and had a moratorium on distributing this particular music, in the hope that the BBC will be encouraged to release more of its theme music on CD. So go buy the single, it's reasonably priced and those who have it say it's very good.
I'll try that again... www.bbcshop.com target=_blank>http://www.bbcshop.com">www.bbcshop.com
Oh, just type that URL into your browser, it does work.
Don't know where you can download it - I certainly wouldn't suggest an illegal download as it breaches copyright legislation - but I can point you to the composer's website:
http://www.davidlowemusic.com
and an interesting email he wrote on the subject of the theme:

Why do I even bother trying to be helpful? I'd be much better off just killing myself instead of bothering to interact with other people at all.
I appreciate you, jenstar. if you've got real player, try this- http://www.eddietalbot.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/tv/cur
