Does anyone know the name of a song, fairly recent (04/05) where the guitar chords sound very like Oasis? (Wonderwall I think). Sorry can't be more specific!

The opening chords of Just the Way I'm Feeling by Feeder (on the Comfort in Sound album) sound very similar to Wonderwall.

There's a Green Day song that definitely fits this bill. Can't remember the title, but I think it's off "American Idiot".

There was a big fuss about the Girls Aloud song "Life Got Cold" as it was thought to sound exactly like Wonderwall in parts

There was a bootleg doing the rounds on the internet last year called 'Boulevard of Broken Songs', which is a mash-up of Wonderwall, Travis' Writing to Reach You and Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams (the song I think ScreaminTree was referring to), all of which sound eerily similar.
