Urban Myth I would assume otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to perform
They have been known to spit (and even vomit) on the audience.. Yes, I do like Slipknot (have two albums). No, I don't totally agree with their behaviour and I can't see how admitting that Corey Taylor urinated on you is going to boost your street cred'.
Its bu***hit basically,at the end of the day 'slipknot' is an act!!Take off the mask and theres a person behind it!!However warped!
Hi..that dog things aload of rubbish but here's a good one (and its true) Sid Wilson (No.0 the DJ) took a 30-foot stage dive and landed on a girl, who had to be rushed to the hospital with a neck and back injuries. He broke 2 of his ribs. The guys a nutta..he also set fire to himself and No.6 on fire (No.6 wasn't too happy) both got 3rd degree burns.
I read a couple of years ago in Kerrang! that they had a dead crow in a jar which they opened on stage to help them vomit...
ah, c'mon, it's all hype, rumour and image. Slipknot's fan-base is mainly younger teens who worship them and will latch on to anything even remotely rebellious to annoy their parents with (and I mean no disrespect, every generation does this), and they will basically believe anything about their idols if it adds to their mystique. Slipknot are an amazing live experience, no-one can say otherwise, but musically, it's all pretty basic stuff. Why do they have the reputation for being so extreme? There are 100 bands heavier than them, the younger fans just haven't discovered them yet. It's Joey the drummer who makes Slipknot what they are, and it'll be interesting to see what happens now that the masks are off and the band (and, more importantly, their fans) are growing up....
No, that was Daniel O'Donnell.

The rumour was about Marilyn, but was just an urban myth - see:
