''My Way'' Sid Vicious

I have tooo many to name - my funeral would be like a festival for the depressed, Im taking them all with me!

=D

Ozzy osbourne "dreamer" & The scorpions "Wind of change"!
I think i'll go for I'm Alive by The Hollies, followed by I'm On Fire by Bruce Springsteen (I intend to be cremated). That'll freak 'em out. ;-)

sithlord.... I know you meant the Sid Vicious version... but for some reason the Cadbury's Creme Egg advert popped into my head... hmmmm! ;) x

Chumbabwumba- 'I get knocked down'
littleoldme - like it !. I'm gonna be buried so I thinkI'll go for Eddie Floyd - "Knock On Wood".
(wish me luck as you wave me goodbye), followed by (Iv'e got al ovely bunch of coconuts) and when it goes into the burner we finish off with (Fire) by the crazy world of arhtur brown
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
The Fairest of the Seasons by Nico

'Resurrection Shuffle was playing on my p.c as I read this thread! How apt...

I don't think it's a morbid question at all, rugeleyboy. I intend to make my funeral arrangements before I 'go' so that I get exactly what I want. For example I don't want anyone to wear black, and I don't want hymns or prayers because I'm not religious.

And, for music, I want all my favourite songs to be played. There are just too many to list them all, but some of my favourites are:

The Scientist by Coldplay

Say Hello Wave Goodbye by David Gray

Your Song by Elton John

Gravity by Embrace

Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls

I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin

Mine will be Drift Away by Dobie Gray, and if, heaven forbis, my wife dies before me, You Were Always On My Mind - the Willie Nelson version will be seeing her off.

FIELDS OF GOLD, but only the EVA CASSIDY version

You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Among the fields of barley
You'll can tell the sun in his jealous sky
As we walk in fields of gold

EXCELLENT LYRICS - PITY THEY'RE WRITTEN BY THE VAINEST MAN ON THE PLANET WHOSE INSISTENCE ON REMOVING HIS SHIRT AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY PUT ME RIGHT OFF HIM AGES AGO

ive always had the same one since i was a wee girl..'When i was 17' by Frank Sinatra..theres a bit of it which goes 'and now i think of my life, like vintage wine from fine old case..it runs straight and clear..it was a very good year!'.(maybe not exact words).the song takes you from how you feel at 17 to when you are old..love it!
Going Underground by The Jam if i am buried, I'm on Fire by Bruce Springsteen if cremated! :o)
Highway to Hell by AC/DC.
Ding Dong the Witch is Dead!!
Definatley Iris by Goo goo dolls and Sarah McLaughlan Angels x
every body hurts by rem
