During a pagan ritual I was performing at the weekend I accidently spilt candle wax on my S Club Juniors 7'. How on this earth am I going to remove it without harming the precious music beneath?

Yes, that's right, a 7 foot diameter disc. x
Blooming 'ell. That musta smarted.

I am going to attempt to answer this one seriously... try lifting off the wax with a toothpick, or some other soft, relatively-thin-edged tool with the record in warm (30 - 32 C) surroundings. Be careful not to warp it though. If the tool edge is kept parallel to the surface of the disc and you proceed with caution, be able to remove much of the wax without any damage. Gentle scrubbing with a soft toothbrush in direction of the grooves may also help. You might then try cleaning the residue with a commercial cleaner. Repeated playback will also help, but will clog up your stylus if you are not careful.
