morning, Saturday and the weekend is here, I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have anything planned for today?

My mate is coming over later and we are going out for a coffee and a natter afterwards.
The forecast for the capital is 24c with light rain so must remember to take the brolly.

So those darn mice are still causing problems, maybe its time for the water trap, as mentioned before on here

yes that could be the solution, the pest control guy was here and put down traps and more bait, in the hope that it would catch them, so far it hasn't.

my brother is going to phone at 10am so can't be on here too late,
as i have got to have a shower and get ready for when my mate comes over to the flat. Apart from that it's a quiet day.

Personally. I don't like poisons and chemicals, as the vermin tend to die in obscure places and rot away causing a stink.

not sure i do either, but according to Pest control guy they mostly go outside to die, and the ones that do perish indoors the smell abates after a little while. i have them running round the flat, chewing on heavens knows what, they are a pain.

not bad emmie ta, but can't shake this cough, still a bit chesty so may attempt a doc visit through the week in case I need antibiotics

that's not good Minty, are you saying you can now see a doctor, after all this time?

nope I will have to phone until I can speak to a receptionist who will decide if I need to speak to a doctor who will call me back sometime in the next fortnight !! then I may get a telephone diagnosis and prescription sent to the chemist !

appalling service Minty, that's just not on.

no home visits.. and very few appointments are given for face to face..you have to have something very very serious for that

my voice is still wrecked which may be in my favour if and when I get the surgery to answer my call..it is taking around 50 attempts to get an answer it seems..some folk are complaining when it gets into double figures
