I've really enjoyed this quiz and have only got one to go and would appreciate a push in the right direction. Clues only please, not the actual answer.
Answers are British and American comedy duos /double acts from the last 100 years on stage, screen and radio.

32. ?Morton and Hayes (Haze) though I can't connect Morton with clue.
Hazlinny, The OP requested clues only.
Thanks Dannyk13 - actually just noticed that .. don't think answer is right anyway! Easily done mistake after searching through numerous websites!

Thank you hazlinny. Yes, the setter has said we can just ask for clues but not the answer. Thank you for trying though, but I don't think that is the answer. The others are all actual people I think.
I have an offer, but its iffy. using anagram solver, put in "to see the fog" this doesn't give an exact answer, but in the near misses, gives the name of a film which stars a well known double act that matches the letter count.
theres an episode in only fools and horses where they dress up that fits the clue

You've lost me - The winner and Mally. I still can't work it out. Thank you for helping though. Glad it's not just me that's struggling.
ignore mine. The answer should fit a lot easier.
christmas special, heroes and villains ^^^
Hellywelly if you Google //episode in only fools and horses where they dress up// you'll get what mallyh is referring to
it's the best i could come up with as the people can't work out who it is through the "fog"
Mally - the letter pattern is 6 &5
the characters they dress up as is 6 5
Ah! they are definitely a dynamic duo.
They appear in a Sega game of the same name.
Question Author
I have contacted the setter and she has been really nice - but I'm still no nearer. She suggests:

"The letter count is fine. Perhaps it's the mindset for this particular question. Consider all the sorts of fog there could be that it would make it difficult to see through!"
