It was good old fish and chips for me, the British speciality , we had them last night after getting back at 2am yesterday morning , lashing of salt ( the only time I have salt) and vinegar with loads of ‘ scranchings ‘ as we call them here,

Scranchings are extra batter , I think people call them scraps in some parts

That batter stuff - our fish shops no longer sell that and I can’t remember what it was called. No doubt it’ll spring to mind at sometime.

I too thought you had them at the airport!

It used to be pork pie with Branston pickle! But we don't leave the UK any more.And we don't eat Pork Pie any more come to think of it!
