How long has anastacia been about for?

I found a old 90's dance/techno tape in my loft and listened to it for nostalgia sake. I then heard a tune called anastacia which had a female vocalist with a strong voice similair to anastacia. Is this a coincedence or is she an old timer from the early nineties.

Let's face it, she doesn't exactly look like she was born yesterday, does she? Her published birthday is September 17, 1973. I'm going to start shaving a few years off my age. Her online biogs suggest she's been in and around the music business since the late 80s. That's the NINETEEN eighties ;-)

That's interesting. I have a couple of "rave" singles by the group Skin Up which credit a singer called Anastasia - with an S, not a C - could this be her too?
