the name of a little machine...

not sure if this is right topic but.... i'm looking for the name of a little machine where you copy a cd on to a mini disc? its does apparently exist!! and meant to be fairly quick! if anyone could provide me with the name of it (and where to get it!) i would be SOO grateful!!

Any Mini Disc player/recorder will do this when plugged in to a stereo system via an optical cable but do you mean a stand alone machine which oncorporates a CD player and and a mini disc recorder?

I have always used sonic stage but I have never really understood it and it takes ages. I use my mp3 player all the time now, as it is so quick and easy, but my mini disc had such a superior sound. I miss it.

I have found the proof that it exists. I have found the operating instructions in pdf. It is called "Sony Compact Disc MiniDisc Deck" model number's: MXD-D40 or MXD-D4. Haven't found out where to get one though or how much. It does sound quick, although it seems a bit complicated.
