The song was written by Joni Mitchell. I'm not sure if she sang it at Woodstock, but at the end of the film the closing credits run over the song being performed by Crosby, Stills and Nash. The following year it was a number one for Matthews Southern Comfort. I don't think they were at Woodstock.
