Well, as an ex-Editor of the Sun I suppose he is best placed to judge whether
the newspapers are misleading the public or not. They do say the poachers make the best gamekeepers don't they ?

Yelland apparently regrets running a front-page editorial (under his leadership) asking whether Britain was being run by a "Gay Mafia,". He also allowed the publication of topless pic's of Sophie Rhys-Jones. So yes, probably not the best arbiter on this subject.
