Put some of the titles you have into EBay and see what they are for first. Then have a look at a few of these sites and see what they are quoting.

Hi

Having just sold my entire collection of over 1500 vinyl all rarities, I got over 11.000 pounds.......How ?

Firstly, there is a site renowned worldwide www.discogs.com for serious collectors, you can find all kinds of information and up to date pricing, and more importantly buyers who are waiting for someone to sell..

Having said that, i checked the usual amazon / gemm / musicstack as well before listing my items on ebay at a keen price, I took decent photos at 5mp of all the 12" / LP`s and used a scanner at 300dpi for the 7" actual records and sleeves, and as i have said I got fantastic results selling worldwide to the weirdest places.

The other most important thing is to make sure they are sent in the correct mailers with stiffeners, as they are fragile and when someone pays a lot and receives bent sleeves or worse cracked records they will not be happy.... I used this firm soundswholesale on ebay buying the best ones which worked out great, not one problem in 1500, cant argue with facts, and you just put the price on top of the actual postage...

I dont know how many you have to sell, but keep going as sometimes it is arduous, but the results can definitely be worth it.

Good luck
I have found this one to be the best

Original perfect mint copy of the Beatles 'White Album' £15,000 !
Major collectors are only interested if your items are rare, in good condition and of particular genre's. I tried selling my whole collection last year ( around 100,000 items ) and had cherry pickers coming from all over, but if they can't sell it on for a big profit they don't wanna know. It would take years for me to put them all on ebay or other auction sites, I managed to sell only a few and still have a loft full of albums and singles I'm probably never gonna play, I wish you luck.
