Songs From Hot Summers Past

Heart Radio`s playing Lets Dance by David Bowie. I remember that from the hot summer of 1983. There always seemed to be songs that were released in summer and when you hear them years or decades later, they take you right back. That doesn`t seem to happen anymore. The only song I can think of for this summer so far is Robin Thicke. Do you think that people only remember the songs when it`s a hot summer?

Cruel Summer by Bananarama (1983) was a good summer song. I keep meaning to make a summer CD from my itunes library. I will get around to it one of these days. I might come back to AB for some suggestions.
