I doubt it.

I'm not surprised the 'victim' was sick. Dangerous nonsense like that makes me sick too!
Having looked at the footage I am astounded that a Vatican-related source could talks such nonsense. It seems that the Pope is saying a bit of a prayer for the man. That isn't an exorcism, whether you are a catholic or not.
The pope meets 'men in black' isn't this just normal popey stuff, curing the incurable, comforting those distressed by gods destruction sprees, spreading aids, robbing the poor, banking billions, promoting ignorance, brainwashing millions every day, etc.
@WR well, more to the point really - what do you believers make of this?

Official Papal sources entirely refute that it was an exorcism anyway.

A man of his years needs to take more exorcise if only to keep his spirits up.
Badum-tish!
Douglas is here all week, folks!
Some people, it would seem, wouldn't know the devil . . . if he shook their hand.
RC Propaganda
I think it was genuine.

Our Voodoo high priestess does that sort of thing all the time.
Barmy old cack.
I don't believe in possession so I can't believe in exorcism.
surely it's RC pope agander
Haven't you been promoted yet, Jayne? High time you were, I say! ;o)
naomi ... you are SO right.

I think not having my own sacrificial chicken is holding me back.
I've only just noticed "pope agander"

LOL, LOL
How can you exorcise something that isn't there in the first place ?
China Doll
I don't believe in possession so I can't believe in exorcism.

Well they're most certainly not in possession of their faculties.
Right Jayne, no sooner said than done! A whip round for a sacrificial chicken! I'm not sure the chicken will be up for it, but is anyone else? All those in favour say 'Voodoo'!
I think that the quote...

“"Exorcists who have seen the footage have no doubt – this was a prayer for liberation from Evil, an actual exorcism," said TV2000, which is owned by the Italian Bishops Conference.”

… tells us everything we need to know about this drivel.
Naomi -

Do you do Voodoo too?
