A soggy Saturday in prospect. Lots of heavy cloud lurking about looking for somewhere that needs a wash. I'll put money on it that's here while I'm on the boat. Such is life!

Slightly warm and wet here in South Yorks. Nothing to complain about except maybe a 'soggy bottom'..........

not sleeping well, that's half the problem, knock out drops might be the answer.. x

Knock out drops could help in the short term em. Personally I cope with not sleeping by just relaxing and thinking of nice things we've done and nice places we've been. It works for me.

the capitals weather forecast seems to be variable, it was blowing a hoolie yesterday.. i never go anywhere without a brolly.

My friend, Brian, used to live on a barge with his dog. He was an alcoholic. He left the gas on one night. Burnt his hands and lost his dog. Devastating. He didn't speak for months, bless him. Haven't seen him for years. Hope he's carrying on..........

read yesterday that the weather we are experiencing is having a devastating effect on our wildlife, hedgehogs are coming out of hibernation at the wrong time, not to mention losing many of our once prolific song birds..

Yes I saw that em. Not good at all. My two hedgehogs are OK. I put food out for them.

Morning all, dark, cold and damp down here in Hampshire but I have to go to work anyway so won't see much of it :)

wbm that's right, because we have had this upside down seasonal weather patterns the wildlife don't have time to adjust or recover. The cuckoo is one bird that is in terms of bird life are almost gone from our shores, what a terrible pity if that happened. I love to listen to the birdies early morning, they can sing their hearts out any time of the day.

The birds wake me up most mornings, they are really noisy.
