For the first time in ages, I just heard Thank God It's Christmas by Queen and it's truly awful. Another one I cannot bear listening to is Wonderful Xmas Time by Macca. Which is your least favourite?

fairy tail of new york
tale^^
Any song I attempt to sing/murder/destroy. I couldn't carry a tune if you put it in a bag and stapped to my back!
All of them. over and over and over zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
i wish it could be Christmas every day, by roy wood, hate it
Wonderful Christmas Time
i hate most of them, infernal rubbish, however i love Christmas carols, they at least convey some peace and serenity, even if you are a non believer, O Holy Night being a firm favourite.
I love Queen and I used to like most of Macca's material but I agree that both of these tracks are weak, particularly the latter one.

I like Wizzard and Slade and love Waitresses, Wham, Greg Lake. I must also admit to liking Maria Carey, Gary Glitter's Rock n Roll Christmas and the Wombles with Wombling Merry Christmas.

But I doubt anything will ever match the Phil Spector Christmas tracks such as Darlene Love
Mistletoe & Wine by Cliff Richard, makes the hairs on my neck stand up, and not in a good way.
I'm not mad about any xmas songs, I like Greg Lake and Bob Seger's version of The Little Drummer Boy but Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie actually makes me feel nauseous. Maybe I was ill when it first came out.

So Here it is Merry Christmas by Slade has me feeling murderous whenever I hear it
Kate Bush - December Will Be Magic Again.

Could never really get to like the banshee.

[Likes Enya - Oiche Chuin (sic) Silent Night but not Chorale version]
Slade's Christmas "classic"
Bruce Springsteen, Santa Clause is com-i-I-I-ing to town. Grrr.
Fairy tale of New York. Thoroughly detest it.
^ Totally agree, switch channels as soon as I hear it's intro
Both by Cliff Richard - Mistletoe and Wine, and the one where he set the Lord's Prayer to music. Dreadful.
Little donkey.
Oddly enough "Wonderful Christmas Time" is one of the few Christmas records I also really dislike, along with ..."Thank God it's Christmas".

"Fairytale of New York" is a great song by a great writer, but there's something about the pernicious influence of Xmas that has me liking stuff that otherwise I might regard as dreadful!
